Hi there
There are two females named ISABELL CHISHOLM who married two males named
JOHN MCRAE and both couples lived in Ontario. I have the following
information on ISABELL CHISHOLM but I may be talking about two separate
ones. I do know that the descendant chart at the bottom is mine as Finlay b.
1817 is my ancestor. Also, the paragraph on the mourning ring relates to my
line. The others I cannot prove and would appreciate any assistance please.
Also, I am not sure where JOHN MCRAE her busband was born.
Here is what I have :
ISABELL CHISHOLM born September 13, 1788 had a sister Mrs. Lewis Travers of
Quebec City. Isabell's parents were ALEXANDER CHISHOLM and MARGARET FRASER.
ISABELL CHISHOLM applied for land grant March 18, 1808 as daughter of a
United Empire Loyalist daughter. Her father was listed on the land grant as
ALEXANDER CHISHOLM.
ISABELL CHISHOLM born September 13, 1788, in Quebec, Canada. Isabell had a
"mourning ring" dated 1812 with her initials - possibly the date of death of
her father. Ring was passed onto her daughter Isobel who married Long
Donald McRae, who passed it to her daughter Isobel who did not marry. She
gave it to Isabel who was the daughter of David Burns MacRae, editor of the
Regina Leader Post. Dates are from St. Andrews Presbyterian church records,
Williamstown, Ont.
ISABELL CHISHOLM married JOHN MCRAE and they had the following children.

Hi,
I am searching for information on Theodore Chisholm he was born in 1903 in
Alachua county, Florida . He was the son of Henry F. and Agnes J. Chisholm.
In 1920 he was listed with his step-father and mother Gentry and Agnes J,
they lived in the township of Waldo. Theodore had two half siblings, Minnie
Lee who married Walter Simpson in 1924, and James who married Lizzie
Henderson in 1926. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

O Lord my god , in thee I put my trust....... Psalm 7:1
Antionette,
I'm sorry to say that I don't have any useful information on David. Unless
he is the father of John Chisholm/chisum/etcetera born in either 1791 or 1794
to and married to Elizabeth Birt. (This is the person I have been searching
for.) I can tell you that
your David possibly does have a son named Adam. I believe I saw it in
Ancestry, but try differing Chisholme spellings and you have acess to much
more info on the same individuals. E-mail me if you need anything you
think I can help with.
Trish
Good Afternoon,
I am trying to locate tax information for David Chisholme Jr. , of Louisa
County, Virginia. The tax information that I need would be the years
1800-1810. He moved to Chester, South Carolina in 1810. Thank you.
