I am searching for the family of my Grandmother, Christine Chisholm. She is from Truro Nova Scotia. She would have been corn around 1890 -1900. Married in Saskatchewan to James Scollon. Had one son, John Scollon and she died around 1945 - 1950. I think she had a brother that died in or around his 20's in a car accident. If anyone has any info on this please contact me. Thanks.

Hello,
I am searching for African American Chisholms in the area of Ocala, Tampa
, Jacksonville, Gainesville Florida and Chester, South Carolina. I am looking
for descendants of this family. My great great grand father and his brothers
were originally from Chester, South Carolina. They were slaves of David
Chisholme and after his death they were passed on to his brother Thomas and
then to their cousin Suprey Chisholme. In 1834 Suprey Chisholme died and they
were listed on his estate sale. they were Ned (Edward) Dudley and William.
The earliest that I found them in Gainesville was October of 1855, that was
the year my great grand father Thomas Chisholm was born. In 1869 they brought
land from W. A.Colclough, These are the Chisholms that were listed on the
1870 Census for Gainesville, Florida.
