Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
FYI
I recently found references to Chisms and Sparks on the Morgan Co. MO
Rootsweb Mailing list. This may be of some help for Chism\Chishams. It
didn't seem to tie into the names I am familar with but it might for
others.

I am now able to get back online after being without electricity for the
past week. We were hit here by a devastating ice storm last week. Many
people are still without power.
If anyone has sent me a message and I have not replied, it is because I
did not get it. I lost a great deal of mail due to my mailbox being full and
bouncing.
I'm glad to be back, and hope all is well.
