Hello,
I came across this place while searching for a genealogy book as a gift for my Dad and when the book arrived, I was absolutely pleased with the quality of their product. I ordered the Hardback version and it was leather covered and pretty strong. I have also seen a few other books that may be of interest for some of you retracing their family line and I will write a list of the book they have available for sale and their web address is and I will write it down in a way that I hope will not violate the board rules and it www.ancestralbooksDOTcom/catalog
They have the following books available:
Chipmans in Maine.
The Chipman Family: A Genealogy of the Chipmans in America, 1631-1920
The Chipman Lineage Particulalry as in Essex County, Massachusetts
A Chipman genealogy, circa 1583-1969, beginning with John Chipman (1620-1708), first of that surname to arrive in the Massachusetts Bay Colony.

There was a prior posting on Ancestry in the Chipman surname message board by David Fleming with the subject "Myrtle Inez Chipman 1900 New York" on 19 Jun 2009. You may want to connect with him if possible.
Based on the information that he posted, I've found her death in the "Ontario, Canada, Deaths, 1869-1936 and Deaths Overseas, 1939-1947" records. The records was registered in the County of Peel, Division of Toronto Township. Her death was on 3 Jan 1919 due to pneumonia. At the time of her death, her last name is "Blood". A Jeff Blood is listed as the informant.
If you don't have access to the Canadian records, please drop me a message with your e-mail and I will forward you a copy of the document.
I've also found her 1900 and 1910 US census records living with her parents. Additionally there appears to be a record for a border crossing in 4 May 1917 from the US to Canada by Jeff Blood (a carpenter) and his wife Myrtle.
Hope this helps.
Ken

Would you be able to post any additional information that you have on her parents? I've come across other queries concerning the same name and may have a possible lead for you to follow.

I don't know who Myrtle married, but I do have a photo of Myrtle's first baby. Myrtle was my father's sister, but he never told me anything about her except that all four of his sisters died young. My mother had this photo and wrote on the back "Frank's sister Myrtle's first baby" no name.I am still looking for more info on Myrtle.
