The Sharp you refer to was he decended from a Robert Sharp who was an English shoulder who came to Newfoundland and began a family here. That Sharp child was the first English born child to bay Roberts?
The only thing listed about Julia Mae Chipman is on page 260. It just says
"one child - May, b. 1885".
"580 Douglas Clinton Chipman (William Douglas, Horace Darius, Darius,
Samuel, Thomas, Samuel, John) was born Feb. 1, 1861 in Covington, Ky.; d. Aug. 29,
1897 in Chicago, Ill. He was a railway conductor. In 1884, he
married Maggie Trimble of Covington.
one child , May, b. 1885"
I found Julia M. Chipman in the 1900 Covington, KY census, living with her
widowed mother, Maggie Chipman, and grandmother, Elizabeth Trimble. Maggie
was a music teacher. Julia was 15, at school. I could not find her in
later censuses.

Douglas Clinton Chipman, son of William Douglas Chipman, was born in
Covington, KY 1 Feb 1861. He died in 1987, leaving one child, Julia MAY
Chipman, born about 1885.
Does anyone know what happened to Julia May Chipman? She was with her
mother, Maggie Trimble Chipman, in Covington in 1900. Maggie married ---
Patterson and I don't know anything more about Maggie, other than she was
living in Richmond, Indiana at the time of her mother's death in 1909.
[Maggie's mother lived in Covington.]
