I am a descendant of Benjamin Chipman married to Sara Walcott through his son Stephen. Stephen's family moved to Illinois following his death and lived near Levi's family. My line eventually moved to Iowa, however some of the family remained in the Fulton/McDonough/Schuyler area with the other Chipmans. I have done some research on the Illinois Chipmans. To answer your question there is an excellent article about the Delaware Chipmans in a Mayflower journal. The article meticulously documents Levi's ancestry through John Chipman.
Feel free to email me directly and we can share information.
