Hi Everyone on the List,
I have been using the John Hale Chipman, III's book "A Chipman Genealogy" and under Isaac I found several brothers who had info after them but only a birth and death date for John E. As my great, great grandfather was also John E. I figured I had a match as the dates were very close and the birth place the same as Isaac's son, Chancy and they all ended up in Momence I was sure I had a match. I knew that Isaac died and somewhere in Illinois and I thought it would be in Momence but had no proof until now. I found his grave and also his wife Relife (I have seen it spelled Releafy and Relief before) in the Momence Cemetery in Momence, ILL. Isaac's birth and death dates were in the book, 1788-1855 and the cemetery records bear this out. Relife's dates were unknown, but the cemetery records give them as 1793-1856.
I hope this might help someone. I have more info on this if anyone is interested.
