Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
I have not been to either of these sites but thought they might help someone

Rogers/Rodgers Connections
Hello
I would like to take this opportunity to invite any of you that have
connections to the Rogers/Rodgers in your files, to visit our new site.
http://www.expage.com/ancestorial
We are building a Rogers/Rodgers Family Database and would be very
interested in any Rogers/Rodgers marriages to your surname, that may be
lurking in your files.
Any assistance in getting this notice out to other surnames would be
greatly appreciated.
Thomas W. Rogers

Mary,
I didn't receive the information to which you referred in your last posting.
Is the book still available? The information on the Chipman's of Nova Scotia,
that you mentioned, is it on line? Thanks for replying, Peggy
I believe that there is a Genealogy written about the CHIPMAN FAMILY in Nova
Scotia.
The below pages came from A CHIPMAN GENEALOGY by John Hale Chipman, 1970.
Here is what I found... does some of this fit? Hope it helps.[Unable to

Fondly, Mary Chipman
I thank you for generously sharing with us your information. It makes my
hunt for family go a little faster. I am new to the list and am hoping to
find cousins out there that might know a little more about the following
family then I. Hopefully, one or more of you might recognize them. Peggy
1.Samuel Chipman born USA
+ Elizabeth born USA
2. Sarah Rebecca Chipman b. 1820 in Nova Scotia?, d. 12/21/1907
+ Samuel J. Sharp b. 1820 in Nova Scotia d. ?
3. Elizabeth Gesner Sharp b. 8/11/1847 in Mass. ?, d. 1/30/1940
+ Thomas Corner Buck
3. Frederick Sharp
3. Mary Sharp
At the time of Sarah Rebecca Chipman's death a newspaper reported that she
had two living sisters, Mrs. Primrose born about 1828 living in Sidney, Nova
Scotia and Mrs. Marshall Shebb born about 1842 and living in Mass.
I thought I would start to post Web address that I find that might assist
people in their research. I have tried to post only addresses that contain
lists or family trees on line that include the surname the list is related
to. This seems to have upset a few people.
I thought I would throw it open to the list to see if anyone has any
objections.
Please let me know if you have any feeling on this, please include the list
surname as I do admin more than one surname and I am sending this letter to
all lists.
