I'm revisiting the George Mifflane Dallas Chinn stuff. The 1900 census has
Dallas & Sarah Frances Springate married about 14 years and the 1910 census
has them married 20 years. Don't you hate that? In addition, her age is
given as 38 instead of 42. The 1900 census has her the mother of 3
children, two living and the 1910 has her the mother of 1 child 1 still
living.
In 1900, Dallas' son is John B. Chinn; in 1910 he is named Thompson Chinn.
Age consistent with John B.
Lillie is still Lillie.

John Chinn married Maggie Holland - Tinsley's grandparents are listed as Mr
& Mrs John Holland. John Chinn and his sister Hulda were the children of
Gabriel T. Chinn and Mary Ann. I don't think I've gotten around to entering
Mary Ann's death notice yet. I guess too many paint fumes around here are
addling my brain.
Two children:
Tinsley Chinn b. Jan 1892 and died Dec 8, 1921 m. Mattie ?
Mary Alice Chinn b Nov 1 1897 d. Nov 23 1992 m. Joseph Mefford.
Anyone have anything else on this family?
I have a newspaper account of Tinsley's death in 1929 in a work accident
(fell from a pole).
