You found it... because on the 1851 Census his wife Elizabeth and his
children are living at 19 High Lane, Manaccan. I wonder why they didn't
list his age because he would have been @47 yrs. So the Helston record is
not my Philip - I thought that was strange, that's why I asked all you folks
because you're so good.

Hi, You probably have this info but just in case I thought I`d send it.
Hilda Bristow nee chinn.
Yes, I do have that, Thanks.
The one thing I forgot to mention is that this Phillip would be between the
ages of 40 to 50 yrs old between 1841 to 1851. If the Helston death is
correct (it didn't mention a age)Phillip would of died at age of 47-48. His
parents would have been listed as Phillip Chinn & Jane Williams.

Well, I tried the usual google search, then the free BMD's, Cornwall
parish's of Manaccan & St Keverne........... I can't find his death:
Phillip Chinn
While checking all the census rec's I could, I found on the 1851 Census (of
Manaccan District 2a living on High Lane) his wife Elizabeth Chinn as a
widow with the following children; Mary A; Elizabeth; Susan and William.
The other children are found in other homes as his wife's occupation is a
Washer Woman.
One BMD had Philip Ching dying in Helston in Dec 1849., But I can't seem
to locate any other information through Google. I've tried every different
spellings, I even tried Cinn which has worked in the past finding other
members of the family.
I don't mind going through long lists that aren't in order (I've done it
before many times)... but does someone know where I could try a different
search FREEE
Thank you,
Janice Deney
