In my research on Chinns I have come across a Samuel Chinn of
Marblehead, Massachusetts in the early 1700's. Does anyone have any
info on this man, and does anyone know if he was related to the Virginia Chinns?

Does this sound familiar to anyone? Doesn't fit in with any of the names I
have.

Hello all,
I seldom visit ebay, but today I did and,as a lark, put in the term
"Chinn" into its' search engine( I'm researching black Chinns of Prince
William County Virginia).
Among the five "hits" was something called a "Chinn House" miniature
by artist Genece Klein. The figure is small--15mm, according to the
description.
Does anyone know about this artist--is she local? Is this figurine a
model of the Chinn House of the Manassas Battlefield--home of Benjamin Tasker
Chinn?
Just curious,
Rhonda Jackson
To Randie Myers,
Regarding your list of Chinns of yesterday, the Rawleigh Chinn who
married Elizabeth Shearman and the Rawleigh who married Fanny Tarpley
were the same man. He was the son of Thomas and Sarah (Mitchell) Chinn.
