Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
There does seem a lack of info about him.
Did find a picture though...

Can anyone please cast any light on the life and times of the late Phil
Chilvers. He was a highly respected film and television producer who died
very suddenly last September aged 58. If the age is correct he would have
been born circa 1948 but I am unable to find a birth record in the UK birth
indexes. Was he born outside the UK? Was Phil Chilvers a stage name
perhaps? Any ideas?
For those of you who have ancestors from the north-west of Norfolk I can
recommend a new book to you. It is entitled "Life is a Poem" and it is about
five brothers growing up in the 30's but the book includes many photographs
of people and places around Snettisham, Norfolk. The author is Donald
Chilvers (3rd cousin once removed). It is a private publication but if
anyone is interested I can put you in touch with Donald.
Just in case I haven't mentioned it before please note that I have relocated
my web site as below. I got fed up with the advertising that Yahoo tag onto
everything
A Very Happy Christmas and a Good New Year to you all,

Hi everyone out there. Would like a bit of help with tracking down information regarding Robert CHILVERS and Mary GEORGE who married on 18th June, 1765 at Watton, Norfolk.
The marriage appears on IGI but can not find any further information either up or down. Good chance Robert & Mary could be parents of John CHILVERS wh married Ann Gilly GEE at Saham Toney, Norfolk in 1798.
Regards to all, and the Best Wishes for the Season.
Ken Chilvers.
