James Chilton had a will dated 22 July 1829 in Madison Co. Missouri. Wife Nancy Clark. They had twelve children. Three sons listed as executors. I have received and transcribed most of the large estate file. James died December 26, 1829. The estate process took almost 20 years to 1849. The file names several son-in-laws since the men received the portion of the estate going to the daughters. For more information, contact me.
