Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

he Chiltons that I am kin to came from Va and then to Ky and to Overrton Co. There was a Edd Chitlon from Oveton co. I dont know about the change of thier name. My grandfather came to Warren co in the early 1900.
My Chilton family was from Overton co. They came fromn Va and then my
grandfather mive to Warren co. When we live in Nashville I saw some Chilton
but then did not know anything about the Line. WC Chilton

I am looking for information on the parentage of Samuel Leonard born in Morris Twnp. PA. 1781. He migrated to Henry County, Illinois where he had a son named William, who had a son, Lewis Colby Leonard, my great, great, grandfather. Samuel Leonard died in Henry County. William Leonard married Harriet Cosner.
