Hi Folks,
My Chilton connections are based in Marylebone as far back as I
have been able to trace. I have gone back to RICHARD CHILTON, who was a
butler in Marylebone. I have no further details as I only have the
information from his son JOHN'S marriage certificate (1859, Marylebone).
JOHN (born 1829, possibly in Hatfield, Herts) was a dairyman, as was his
son, (my grandfather) FRANK PERCY CHILTON (born 1872, Marylebone)
If there is any connection, I would be willing to share the information I
have.
Best Wishes,
JuneR

John CHILTON (b.ca 1701) was a son of John Chilton (d.1726), of Westmoreland
Co., VA. He married Ann Stewart and is believed to have settled in Prince
William Co., VA where he died intestate sometime after 1751. Three children
are attributed to the couple: Letitia, John Stewart, and Sturman. There may
have been others. I wish to correspond with anyone researching this couple.
Your response is appreciated.

Margaret CHILTON (b.ca 1750) married Elijah WYATT, about 1773, probably in
Prince William Co., VA. I am interested in learning more about the ancestry
and family of this lady. Your response is appreciated.
