Looking for info on CHILES Family of Greenville Co, SC. ca 1778 to 1860 (ie on JOEL CHILES and his children JOHN, THOMAS and JANE). A lot of CHILES were in the Civil War. Were any of them or their children ? When and where did JOEL and his wife, MINA (MINCEY ?) CHILES die ? When and where did JANE die ? How are the "TILLMANs" related ? Any info greatly appreciated. Many thanks.

I am looking for information on Sallie Ann Chiles, whom, I believe is listed on the 1870 Trenton, Todd, Kentucky census as the daughter of Flemming N. Chiles. She was married before to a Watts (?). She then m. Henry J. Wamel in 1884 in Cedar Creek, Texas. My records show b. 8 Sep 1847 in Kentucky, d. 11 Sep 1928 in Cedar Creek, Texas. They are my ggm/f.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
