Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Hello fellow "Childs" researchers.
After a frustrating start to the new year with a crashed computer I can now
see daylight. My new computer will be here by the end of the week and in
the meantime I am using my daughter-in-laws so have limited access. My isp
has been changed so emmaw@istar is no longer valid. My new email address is
emmaw(a)idirect.com I will try to update the information on the Roots site
but it may take a few days. In the meantime, I must appologise for any
inconvenience,

I am trying to contact the Childs List moderator. I had thought it was
a Joan White with the e-mail address of <emmaw(a)istar.ca>, but e-mail to
that address today bounced with user unknown. Also, the administrators
at Roots Web do not seem to have the addresses of list moderators.
I apologize to the list subscribers for this message, but would the
moderator of this list please contact me. My e-mail address is in the
header and in my signature.
Thanks.
