Does anybody know in which BOOK or JOURNAL the following article was
published?
"The family of Robert Lucas Childress, Jr.
a history and biography by Phillip G. and Wilene Smith"
I have the article but have forgotten what Book or Journal I found that
article..
Here are some RICHARD CHILDRESS or CHILDERS, etc I've
found on US censuses ranging 1810 to 1840, I could not
find any Richards prior to 1810 in the censuses.
Everyone views a census differently, so check for
yourself before assuming the following information as
fact. I also might add that not all census takers did
things neatly and accurately.
