GOOD MORNING LISTERS,
I HAVE HAD THIS PEDIGREE FOR A LONG TIME NOW AND I WONDER WHAT THE
MEMBERS OF THIS LIST HAVE TO SAY ABOUT. DOES ANYONE HAVE PROOF THAT IT
IS WRONG AND CAN SAY DEFINITELY THAT TO BE THE CASE? I HAVE NO PROOF
THAT IT IS RIGHT OR WRONG. CAN ANYONE ADD TO IT? ANY AND ALL POSITIVE
COMMENTS AND SUGGESTIONS WILL BE RECEIVED GRACIOUSLY AND I THANK YOU IN
ADVANCE FOR ALL YOUR GREAT HELP. PS I AM STILL LOOKING FOR LULA
CHILDRESS' ANCESTRY OR AT LEAST SOME CLUES IF ANY OF YOU HAVE THEM. I AM
ABOUT TO CONCLUDE THAT HER FATHER WAS ANDERSON W CHILDRESS SON OF MARION
FRANCIS CHILDERS AND HARRIET JONES. ANY SUGGESTIONS ON THIS?
THANKS A BUNCH

well watered. He is a director in the Dry Ridge Deposit Bank and a large
stockholder. In politics he is a Democrat of the Downingsville type, and
has been an ardent party worker for many years. He has never been a
candidate for any office and never expects to be. He was married to
Miss Sarah E. Conrad, a sister of Hon. J. C. B. Conrad, in November,
1868. Eleven children have been born to this union, eight girls and
three boys, all of whom are living, and eight of them whom are living at

1890 Census Special Civil War Schedules Enumeration
Microfilm M123-28 BUTLER COUNTY MISSOURI the USGenWeb Archives
Census records here use standard abbreviations for states known at the
time. Inf stands for infantry, Cav stands for cavalry, Mtd stands for
Mounted, Art stands for artillery, indicates a ship name, (Confed)
indicates confederate which had a line drawn through the entry as this
was a Union Veterans census. There are soldiers listed in a few other
southern states which also could be Confederate but did not have the
lines drawn through the entry. There also appears to be some duplication
of names-some with and without units. Also some units from southern
states were Union Units.
