Re: [CHILDRESS] John Childress born 1755 VA
by Greg and Nancy Whitlock
Hi Linda,
I am also looking for information on a Richard Childress. He was born in
the 1750's in Virginia and lived in Pittslyvania County Virginia in 1800. I
do not have any information on his parents or siblings although I have some
idea based on other Childress's in the county at the time. I do not know
what happened to him after that. I know he sold some land in 1801 in
Pittslyvania County. Most of his children married and moved to West
Virginia. Any information on this Richard will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Greg
