Steve,
I don't know if you have any interest in adding some version of this to your timeline:
Hezekiah Davidson bought land in Cumberland Co., VA on 28 Jul 1760 from Samuel Taylor and Samuel's wife Sophia/Sapphina Childers. Sophia was the sister of Hezekiah's wife, Tabitha Childers and also the sister of Mathew Tucker's wife, Lucretia Childers.
The above was apparently when my "branch" of the Davidson family first came into Cumberland Co., VA. I don't know for sure if Hezekiah Davidson married Tabitha Childers before or after he moved from Albemarle Co., VA to Cumberland Co., VA. The first record of their only known son Philemon Davidson was when Philemon signed a religious petition in 1779 (he signed immediately below the signature of his father Hezekiah Davidson). If Hezekiah married Tabitha in 1760, then Philemon could have been about 18 or so in 1779 (was that old enough to be allowed to sign such a petition)? Philemon was also in the Rev. War, and he fought at Valley Forge. From the available birth and/or marriage dates for the children, Philemon may not have married his wife Mary Unknown until well after the war (probably mid-1780s-about 1790). Philemon's wife Mary MAY have also been a Childress, based on the names used for their children (like Reuben, Joseph, Ketturah, Judith and Nancy...all five of these names were associated with a couple of the Childress families that ended-up in Kanawha Co., VA).
Bill
That was a submitted marriage and that was all the data they supplied.
Sorry, I just published what was submitted. I figure if it has relevance to
someone, they will look for the record. Thanks for looking though.
Regards,
Steve Stevens

Steve,
Near the bottom of your timeline, you show a Childreath and a William
Davidson. Who/what/when/where is that all about?
Thanks,
Bill Davidson

Steve,
I guess this is the William Davidson/Childreth couple that you mentioned. I
also see a post by Gary Childress which states that this woman may have gone
to GA from Albemarle/Amherst Co., VA.
