Hipp. Pam was a 1978 graduate of Kings Mountain Senior High School. She was a loving caretaker to her mother and enjoyed spending time with her family, and especially loved her time with her grandchildren and god-daughter. Pam enjoyed riding motorcycles and spending time at the beach. Thomas Alexander Childers, Jr., age 61, of Dallas, (NC) died Sunday, April 29. He was born in Gaston County (NC) to the late Mattie Crawford and Thomas Alexander Childers, Sr. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son Eric Shane Childers. He was a member of the Southern Gentlemen Motorcycle Club. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Sonya; children Thomas Alexander Childers, III and wife Jenny, Joshua Childers and wife Kristen, Summer Childers, Justin Childers and wife Marti, Tabitha McMahan and husband Timmy, Crystal Crosby and husband Robbie, and Tara Hoffman; 18 grandchildren; a sister Elizabeth Childers McConnell; and one niece Crystal Hill Rhyne. A visitation will be held from 2:30 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, May 5 at Woodlawn Funeral Home in Mount Holly (NC). A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held immediately following the service at the funeral home beginning at 4:00 p.m.
