Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

Ocie P. Childers ROCK HILL - Mrs. Ocie Gayle Price Childers, 90, passed away on Friday, February 6, 2015, at Spring Arbor. Arrangements will be announced by Greene Funeral Home Northwest Chapel.
Lois Childers ROCK HILL Mrs. Lois Farmer Childers, 75, passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 5, 2015, at Piedmont Medical Center. A graveside service will be 2 p.m. on Saturday, February 7, 2015, at Grandview Memorial Park on Cherry Road with the Rev. Jeramy Herring officiating. Born in Rock Hill, Mrs. Childers was a daughter of the late Thomas Dewitt Farmer and the late Zoe Ann Holcomb Farmer. She was a member of Oakwood Acres Baptist Church. Surviving are her son, Richard Childers and his wife, Wendy; three sisters; two brothers and her nieces and nephews who she loved dearly. The family will receive friends from 12 to 1:30 p.m. (prior to service) on Saturday, February 7, 2015, at Greene Funeral Home Downtown Chapel, 355 E White St., Rock Hill. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Mrs. Childers' name to Oakwood Acres Baptist Church, 2212 Burton St., Rock Hill, SC 29732. Condolences may be made at www.greenefuneralhome.net.
