I would love to find out more about Dixie too? Are you sure she lived with TP and Mary Childers? Also, I noticed you had posted her obituary. It is correct (because my grandfather, his brothers, and sisters info is correct) but I can't find it anywhere! Where did you find it? My grandfather just passed away and he was the last child of Dixie's 17 children to pass. No one seems to know much about her. Have you found anything since 2011?

Terry ChildersFORT MILL - Terry R. Childers, 78, of 1835 Grady Hope Road, died Saturday, March 29, 2014, at the Wayne T. Patrick Hospice House.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Westerly Hills Baptist Church, with Pastor Roger Brown officiating.
Burial will be in Grandview Memorial Park, Cherry Road.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Monday at the church.
Born in York, S.C., Terry was the son of the late James R. Childers and the late Johnsie Bolick Childers.
He lived his life for his Savior and Lord.
He served faithfully in his church through the years as a deacon, Sunday school teacher, youth leader and choir member.
He was a member at Westerly Hills Baptist Church.
Terry always had a song in his heart and helped anyone in need.
He loved his family with all his heart from the youngest to the oldest. And they all loved "Paw" right back.
He enjoyed the beach, gardening and swinging with his sweet thing and a cup of coffee.
Terry retired from Celanese as a water treatment operator.
Then he worked at Fort Mill Filter Plant and Lancaster County Water and Sewer, where he retired a second time.
Though he will be missed, we rejoice knowing he's singing in the presence of his Lord today.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Hill Childers; his son, Jimmy Childers (Terri); two daughters, Terri C. Archie (David) and Beverly C. Holcombe (Bo); one brother, Jack Childers (Phyllis); eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Danny Childers; a grandson, Stephen Worley; a great-grandson, Wesley Worley; and a brother, Bill Childers.
Memorials may be made to Westerly Hills Baptist, 232 S. Sutton Rd., Fort Mill, SC 29708.
