John Childers who married Ursula Demoss is the brother of my Richard Childers who married Margaret McCauley in Orange County, Indiana. Since both John and Richard claimed to be born in Tennessee, I've been searching there for likely candidates and am looking with interest at a John Childers who arrived in Davidson County from North Carolina about 1784. Don't know if it's a fit, but he is on juries and engaged in land transactions about the time they were born.

I am looking for my mother in laws mother. She has never known her. She left when she was a young child. She use to be married to Clarence Childers. She was from Pontiac MI and may have lived in Franklin NC at some point in her younger years. We think she was born around 1919. Would like to know if she is still alive? Any information would be helpful.
