My name is Josephine Elliott. I am married to Dan Elliott. My mother was Lucille Childers. We are probably related. I would like to hear from you. I remember going to Zadie and Willie's house as a girl. I also remember going across the road to Minnie's house. I also remember being there when one of Zadie's sons was killed in the mines. Is that true, or just a mistaken memory.

My grandmother was Zadie Childers, daughter of Olander and Ollie. She married Willie E. Burchfield. Both are buried in Mannington. If you are still researching this line, I would like to correspond with you.

None of the information I am seeing is adding up for me? All I have to go by is the worse Census Record you have ever seen in Kemper County, Mississippi-1870. We have William with, I would guess wife Elizabeth? This cannot be the William G. Childers in Greene County, Alabama in 1850. Below there is George McKee married to Hattie...which I belive is Harriett Childers. My Great-Grand Mother was Indiana McKee, Funeral Records states Mother as Harriet Childress, her Father was George Milton McKee. Any and all information to help me in my quest would be greatly appreciated.
Kathy
