Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.

CHERRYVILLE - April Dawn Childers, 29, of 3262 Tryon Courthouse Road, died Oct.
6, 2010.
She was a native of Gaston County, born April 29, 1981, daughter of Robert
Luther Hall and stepmother, Georgia Hall of Stanley and Marlene Presley
Danielsen and stepfather, Craig Danielsen of New Bern.
April was employed by Hibbett Sports of Shelby as assistant manager.
Survivors include her husband, Gregory Childers, a son Dylan Hart Childers, a
daughter Raven Seirra Childers all of the home; one brother Robert Lee Hall of
Mt. Holly, three sisters, Robin Cogdill of Bessemer City, Julia Ralston, Mt.
Holly and Wendy Hall of Dallas, two step sisters, Tammy Corley of Stanley,
Christa Corley of Va. Maternal Grandmother Betty Mims of Kings Mountain, Father
and mother in law: Don and Linda W. Childers, of Cher-ryville. Brothers and
Sister-in laws, Kevin and Shannon Muse of Belmont and Todd and Stacey Price of
Cherryville.
Funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church, Cherryville
with the Rev. Dr. Vince Hefner officiating.
Burial will be at Shady Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Carpenter's Funeral
Home. At other times, the family will be at the home of Don and Linda Chil-ders,
3242 Tryon Courthouse Road, Cherryville.
Memorials may be made to Greg Childers, Children's Education Fund, 3262 Tryon
Courthouse Road, Cherryville, NC 28021.

Jim, Hi I have just started getting back on here to do some soul searching for our family. Yes, Anne Belle is my Aunt. She is my dad's sister. Alvin is my dads name. My brother remembers your mom. Well, My great grandparents names are on Roberts side is: His Fathers name is John Childers and His Mothers name is (Sarah) Anne Sutton. And Alma Ivory (Buchanan) Childers is Roberts wife. Her Fathers name is Emlus or Emlis or Emless O. Buchanan and Her Mothers name is Cordelia Dalphia Cagle. The names you have listed as grandparents they are not any relations that i am aware of.
