Looking for info on Pharoah I have found two in Lawrence County Kentucky. One was born on 23 Nov 1880 and the other on Aug. 23, 1881. The one in 1881 was married to a Mary A. Ramey and I think the other was married to a Mary E. Ramey, on the 1910 census she is listed as Lizzie, so her middle name could of been Elizabeth. I have a marriage date of 28 Oct 1904 on Lizzie and Pharoah (born 23 Nov 1880). Does anyone know the parents of Lizzie and the 1880 Pharoah? Mary Elizabeth Ramey is my great grandmother's sister. I want to know if Lizzie is her.
thanks

My great-grandfather was William Dennis, born in Springfield, Greene, MO, Jan. 2, 1854. He died in Nebraska City, Otoe, NE, Jan. 2, 1923. On his death certificate, his father is listed as John Childers, born in MO. His mother is listed as Pacey Nerest, also born in MO.
William Dennis, a barber who lived the last 50 years of his life in Nebraska City, NE, was listed as white or mulatto on various records. Since MO was a slave state, I believe his mother was black and his father white. I know that John R. Childers purchased 120 acres in Springfield, Greene, MO between 1853 and 1857, but have not found any additional data. I would appreciate any information on John R. Childers or Pacey Nerest. Thanks.
