The Childers/Childress will have its annual meeting in Broken Arrow (Tulsa) OK on Sept 13-16, 2007. Anyone with connection to the Childers/Childerss name is welcome. You could check our website childers-childress.com for more information. We will be at the Holiday Inn Express in Broken Arrow. There will be a wreath laying at the statue of Ernest Childers, a medal of honor winner, who is a Native American. Please come and share your family history with us. We may have some information that will fill the gaps in your research.

The Elizabeth Stanley in my family units was listed as 10 years of age in the 1850 Warren Co. Census record.
Could be the same one due to how census records were taken.
I'll hang on to your name incase I run accross some more data.
Thanks for your help. I hope only the best for you and your family.
Mack

Hi! Looks like ya'll been working on these two for a while. The line of Stanleys I've been working on are from Warren Co. TN in the 1850s. I can't find most of them after the 1850 census record. One or two of the Stanley daughters moved to Texas in about 1890. Sarah married William A Davis of Warren Co. and one of her sisters was Elizabeth. Sarah and Elizabeth can be found in the census record in the household of Nathan Stanley.
Thanks, Mack
