I'm researching my father's family, and have come to a deadend. I hope someone can give me a clue to get going again. Here goes...my pgm was Lona V. Dotson, daughter of John Calvin Dotson and Ella (Ellen?) Childers, b. about mid 1800's. Lona was born about 1876, Doddridge area of W.Va. Her parents though, John and Ella, were from Ritchie Co., Va. Does anyone have any info to help? John's mother might have been Melissa Dotson, but can find no info on his father. I also cannot find Ella's Childers' parents.
I'll keep my fingers crossed here...what's left of them after all the searching....:)
Thanks,
Linda

For the past 20 years I have worked on the Jacob Childers (1762 to 1844) line in South Carolina. I am having a book printed, 550 pages. If anyone is interested, $25.00 for the book and $5.00 for the mailing. Time is of the essence because I have to get it to the printer by the end of this month and the books should be ready by the end of March. jchild3400(a)bellsouth.net for your book order and drop a check into the mail to reserve it. Some of our clan went to North Carolina, Georgia and Texas. It covers them but mostly it relates to the South Carolina clan.

Hi, I was wondering if you or anyone else could help? My family starts with Solomon Fitzhugh, whose daughter is Mary ann Fitzhugh who married Daniel L. Anderson, they had a son George Anderson which is my great grandfather. I would like to to know if anyone has pictures of these families? I would like to pay for copies of pictures or have them e-mail pictures. Thank you, Darlene
