While researching my family line through Robert C Childers and Angelico Bishop, I ran across another family living in old Tish. Co MS in 1850.
A. and Margaret Childers are listed with the following children: Sarah (14), Margaret (6), Elizabeth (4), and Victoria (1). Also living with them are Robert C's daughter, Malinda P and her new husband, WG Clemons.
If you have any information regarding this family or others who migrated to old Tishomingo Co around 1830-1840, please let me know!!
Sincerely,
Darlene Childers Franco

Elaine & Joan
I do now think, our Sarah could be a Childers and daughter of Jacob Childers. Still I know of no record proof or anything else but an educated guess that makes our Sarah that married Littleton the daughter of Jacob Childers. For now I will show her as a Childers daughter of Jacob.
I found what appears to me to be a source record that will show the Sarah that married Lewis Sandlin was in fact a Kennedy and is likely the same Sarah named in James Kennedy's will.
Below is what I found but bear in mind I have not seen the actual death certificate. It does seem that it does exist.
Jane's name I think is Virginia Jane " Jinny or Jennie" Sandlin born 6, May 1821 in Clay co, Ky. See below data and link. Census records seem to bear this record out but again it would be nice to see the actual copy or photo copy of it. Since it is not my direct line I will not check it out.

Hi Mary,
I am also seeking information about Abraham Childers and his ancestors. I'd be happy to share what I know and would love to know what you have learned about this family.
Also saw your posting regarding the Constantine Perkins / Nicholas Perkins line and would enjoy sharing data about that, too.
Thanks,
Gale
