investigated, there was an article last year about it. The people that
forwards this message just makes it lst longer.
Thought this worth passing on in hopes of making someone's day. Hopefully
these dogtags will find a home. Barb

Suggest you go to google.com and click on advanced search and put in handheld
scanner in exact wording column. You can get price comparisons and advice
from PC magazines that way. Make sure you have a correct port on your laptop
for the scanner you decide to buy.

Looking for others researching this McDuffie and Childers family in Cherokee
and Etowah Cos., AL. This is what I have.
My family is Thomas S. McDuffie and Frances Childers McDuffie. Frances lived
with Thomas' brother Norman H. McDuffie on the 1850 Cherokee Co., AL census.
No other Childers lived in the household. Thomas and Frances were married
shortly after
Frances Childers name could be Frances Childress. It was spelled Childers on
the census.
