I am not sure if this is about the same family, or if there is any connection. I have recently found in the 1683 will of Christopher Poulton of Maidenhead [or Cookham] Berks, that he had a tenant William Child who also took an inventory of his estate. When my great grandfather Samuel Childs wrote his will in 1862, he left two tenements in Maidenhead to his son George Childs. The question I have tried to find an answer to is ... what connection did grgrpa Sam have to the Childs in Maidenhead?

Seeking information on Elizabeth Child who was born in Ohio about 1837. The 1900 census says her father was born in Kentucky and her mother was born in Ohio.
In 1860 Elizabeth and her husband Peter Wiser were living in Iowa. Peter Wiser's brother Francis Wiser was also living with them. The i870 census shows Elizabeth and Peter Wiser were living in Oregon along with their four kids, three that were born in Iowa and one born in Oregon.
I would appreciate any information on this family including Elizabeths ancestry. Thank you, Bill Olson
