Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

Hi Alan,
you posted a message late last year looking for Childs in London.
just wondering if you were still looking. My Childs family came from Great Yarmouth, but by late 1800's and 1900's they were all around london middlesex kent...
his fathers name wouldn't have happened to be George too would it.
anyway let me know if you are still hunting, and if you have found anything i would love to know. those names are all family names, i even have a Roseate (rose?) in the tree as well, hosiery even rings a bell.
