An "All Public Member Trees result" listing in Ancestry shows a list of Chilicotes, spelled with the second "i". Specifically, it provides Francis Perry Chilicote's four daughters, married in Idaho and in Salt Lake City. I had earlier found Francis as the son of James Franklin Chilcote of Wood County, OH, and had noted that he had been the secretary of a mining company in Idaho.
Although the "Member Trees" posting lists the daughters' birth dates and marriage dates, no spouses are given.
Can anyone explain this family to me? Was the Chilcote (Chilcoat, Chilcott) name sometimes spelled Chilicote? I have not found this family in the censuses, in Ancestry or Family Search marriage files, or by Googling. If I knew the daughters' married surnames, I might stand a chance of finding them, perhaps in Findagrave.com..
P.S.: I realize that this branch of the family was extracted from the "Duffe Family Tree" but am not certain how to access that tree.
