Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

I agree with everything you said. Ancestry.com, to me, is to put your info. out there. That way, if other researchers want to help you, or give you information that you need then they can. I use Ancestry.com to put my information out there, and if some of it is incorrect then these people who read your post should try to help you. They have no right to make you feel bad. Keep researching and use Ancestry.com the way you want to. I have put some of my info. out there without proof, and other nice researchers have come in to help me. Klott52
