I am interested in your chain of 3 Samuels, originating with David and Alice Bayley. There is an original church record that the second Samuel was baptized March 30, 1729, in Connecticut. Also another son Elijah on Jan 12, 1739 and two nieces, by his brother David, Abigail and Jemima, in 1726 and 1729. Not New Haven or Waterbury. Abigail and Jemima were both married in Morris County, NJ. I take it that both Samuel and David, as well as a couple of brothers-in-law named Hough (Huff) all went to Morris County in the 1740s. I am particularly interested in the deeds from John and Jonathan Hough mentioned in the Chidester Heritage book. I can't find those deeds. Anyone know what are the current LDS film numbers for the films cited in that book? If you want the source citation for the CT baptisms, contact me by email, wwhough(a)gmail.com
