In the 1850 Census of Monroe County, Iowa the following are listed with John Peter CHIDESTER:
(but last name spelled CHITTESTER): Sarah, David, Zachariah, Asariah, Gideon, Fernetta, Benjamin, Sarah, William, Nancey, Wilson, Alissa, Samuel, Oliver, Francis.
The first Sarah is his wife. Are all the rest his children? Or is from Nancey to Francis the children of John Peter's oldest son, David?
In the 1860 Census of Monroe County, Iowa with David there is Nancy, Wilson, Sameul, Allia, Elizabeth, Matilda and John.
Thanks for any insight you may have to my query.
