I've "rescued" two old photographs of Howard CHIDESTER or CHIDISTER taken at
the Gaites Studio in Macomb, Illinois. This is two copies of the same
photograph, probably taken in the 1880's when Howard was in his late teens
or early 20's. A third unidentified photograph was taken at the same studio
and though unidentified the male subject appears to be related to Howard.
I'm hoping to find someone who is related to this CHIDESTER or CHIDISTER
family so that these wonderful old photographs can be returned to family.
If you are a member of this family or know someone who might be, please
contact me.
Thanks,
Shelley

I corresponded with Elmer some twenty some years ago, as well as Elizabeth Hopler. Elmer, in a letter, said he had a copy of the will of Joseph Hopler. Any chance you can share that with me or that I can get a copy? Please e-mail.
