Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

D. Eleanor Dudley, 88, of Port Clinton, Ohio died Tuesday, March 30, 2010 at her home.
She was born on August 24, 1921 in Uniontown, Pennsylvania to Thomas and Sara (Ready) Chick.
She was a 1938 graduate of Toledo Central Catholic High School. Eleanor married William J. Dudley on April 7, 1943 in San Antonio, Texas. He preceded her in death in 1993.
She was a homemaker and mother residing in Gibsonburg for over fifty years.
Eleanor was an avid golfer and enjoyed many years of membership at Fostoria Country Club and Quayle Ridge in Boynton Beach, Florida. Her wonderful sense of humor and love of fun with family and friends will long be remembered.
Eleanor is survived by her children, Patricia (John) Pastorek, Oregon, OH, William (Barbara) Dudley, Powell, OH, Michael (Tammy) Dudley, Port Clinton, OH, Thomas Dudley, Fremont, OH.; grandchildren, Kara Pastorek, Barant Pastorek, Dan (Nicole) Abby, Allen, Drew, Kathryn Eleanor, and Connor Dudley, Sara Marino (Kevin) Janie and Katie Dodds; and four great grandchildren, Thea and Hobbs Dudley and Arai and Ava Marino; one sister, Jeanne Reineck of Atlanta, Georgia also survives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William J. Dudley; brothers, Leo, James, and Russell Chick; and sister, Margaret Donnan.
A Graveside Memorial Service took place on April 1, 2010 at St. Lawrence Cemetery in Gibsonburg, OH.
Memorials in her honor may be made to The Vineyard on Catawba Island Port Clinton, Ohio or to Stein Hospice Sandusky, Ohio.
