I bought an old brass trimmed leather church bible from an antique dealer in CHeltenham. It is beautifully restored, inscribed inside (1859) as having been presented to JOHN CHICK of the above Sunday School on his departure from Cheltenham in thanks for his service to the Sunday School as Superintendent there. If anyone is a descendant of John Chick and would like to contact me in this regard please e-mail me direct to discuss.
