I am looking for info on Walter and Sarah (Walker) Chick. Walter Chick was the caretaker of Dagget Park ( now known as Slater Park), and Zoo, circa 1900-10. Walter and Sarah adopted my maternal grandmother around 1906. They moved to NH around 1910. Walter may have eventually moved to Maine. Any clues appreciated. Desire correspondence with ALL New England area CHICK family researchers. Other names being researched which may relate to this line are, BOOTH, MOORE, MORTLAND, HAWORTH, and ELDER.
Thanks!
Jayne Compton

My Mary E. Chick was from Virginia and married Rev. Wm. J. Bagby Of Louisa
Co., VA. She was born around 1810. I think she was possibly the sister of
Pettus Chick. Does anyone have data on this Mary? -- Linda Reams

Looking for the Birth of Mary Alice Chick to Elizabeth (Copple) and Charles
O. Chick, in Missouri on March 15, 1858. Trying to find where in Missouri
she was born. Possibly Nodaway Co. Thanks
Sharon
I was so excited to see Mary Chick in the subject line! Sadly, it's not my
Mary. Does anyone have any idea who Mary Chick, wife of Benjamin Lord, was?
Her children were born 1801-1818 or so and they may have lived in Lebanon,
ME. Although it may have been anywhere in Strafford County, NH or York
County, ME. Benjamin was a sheriff in Lebanon later on, and remarried when
she died. In the Lebanon, ME VR they're called "Capt. Ben and Polly".
Thanks for any leads!
Lezlie
