I've "rescued" an old photograph of Mae CHICHESTER SMITH of Cairo, NY. The
photograph appears to have been taken in the early 1900's with Mae appearing
to be in her 20's or 30's at the time it was taken. Based on limited
research I was able to gather the following information regarding Mae and
her family as follows:
Mae CHICHESTER SMITH was b. 17 Feb 1891 in Hudson, NY to parents Barnabas
"Barney" L. CHICHESTER and Alice GORDON (born East Durham, NY). Mae
married Clarence A. SMITH of Cornwallville, NY (b. 1898 in Germantown, PA,
the son of Armenius SMITH and Anna HEYER who was born in Philadelphia, PA)
on 13 Oct 1924 in Greene Co. NY. She died 16 Dec 1979 and is buried in the
Cornwallville Methodist Cemetery in Cornwallville, NY.

returned to their care. If you are a member of this family, or you know
someone who might be, please contact me.
