I am a grandaughter of Henry & Mary Fogel Chezem.
I do believe Henry's two first wives are buried in this old Chezem Cemetery,
along with one or two still-born infants.
Henry's parents, Anna Barrett Ridgeway Chezem and John Downs Chezem--both
buried in Old Chezem Cemetery, Spring Hollow, near Jewett, Il. ppg 2-4 "The
Chezem Geneaology" by Norm Chezem (my brother) and Rachael Chezem Anderson.
This is the 2nd edition, edited from first edition.
You may contact me @ phils750(a)comcast.net if Rootsweb will allow it.

My grandmother Lenora Alice Chezem Reynolds was born in Cumberland County in just outside Jewett, IL. Her mother and grandmother both had farms in that area. To this day that area is called Chezem Hill. I do remember seeing the name of Delbert in our family history. I will try and take a look at it tonight and get back with you. There is an old family cemetary located in the area. I found it last year in a wooded area out in a farmer's field. I hope to get back over there and clean the area up--many downed tree limbs, etc. I'll let you know what I find out.
