Hello,
I thought that I would try posting my query again.
I have a photo of my great grandfather wearing a kilt and
among other decorations, he is wearing a type of brooch
with the letters CCPB. As his mother was a CHEYNE, and I
am led to believe that the Cheynes are Septs of the Clans
Sutherland and Cumming and this branch would more than
likely be Cumming as they were from the Fyvie area of Aberdeen.
Could someone please tell me if the letters CCPB stand for
Clan Cumming Pipe Band or something similar?
I would appreciate any help or information.
Regards
Wendy in Queensland, Australia
