Hi all,
The RootsWeb server and those that run it have had to devote most of their
time to the mundane chores of just keeping it up and alive. Thus, the web
page still has not been put up. I can't guess when but we are on the list.
Meanwhile, here is a list of CHEYNE-L subscribers. The list doesn't provide
the names--only the addresses.

Hi all. I am new to the list and trying desparetly to find a connection
with Cordelia CHANEY. She was born 6 Jan. 1869 in Pulaski Co., KY. She
married Isaac Goodson CATRON 21 Mar. 1895. She died 11 Nov. 1938 in
Cumberland City, Clinton Co., KY. I have been unable to find anything else
about her. I beleive her grandfather may have been Amos. This is only an
somewhat educated guess. Would greatly appreciate any help.
Thanks in advance.

I have just updated my web page to include Family A, Family E, the
link between the two, descendents of William Cheyne and Magdalene
Birnie and information about the Early Family.
I will NOT include any information concerning living persons born
after 1900 without written permission from each family unit. I
discovered that I included some of the above on the original George
in Huntley Family. So I have removed them until I receive
permission.
If you want your information included. Please e-mail me stating your
permission and permission of your ancestors to one of the listed
persons.
Please check it out and let me know what you think of it.

Derick advised me that he could not access all the pages of my home
page.
Have any of you had the same problem. I changed something that may
hake a difference. So if you did please try again. I do not have
any problems from my end.
I plan to put Families A-E up this weekend. I am assuming that if
you gave me information, that you have no problem with your history
being post here. If you want me to exclude your data, please let me
know as soon as possible.

Dear list subscriber,
You have probably noted a diminished number of messages lately. After the
Spam attack which was followed by a hacker trying to shut down the main
server, there have been added problems caused by interface problems with
AOL. These have been addressed and fixed. Currently, there has been a
problem with the JUNO server and Juno subscribers have been removed from the
list until this problem is corrected. In the meantime, you might want to
check the other lists that are sponsored by RootsWeb. The are listed on:
http://www.rootsweb.com/~maillist/ and contain all the instructions you
might need subscribers.
