Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb

He doesn't have the Furman you are looking for on his website, but he does have a few Elizabeth Furmans in the Chew line, so maybe there is a connection. He's very helpful.

No, no one has contacted me other than you. So glad to hear from someone, hope you can help me.
Did you have an ancestor named Furman Chew who lived at 621 Division Street (I believe the house number is correct), and his mother's name was Mary I believe. There was a also a man living there, I was told his name was John Chew, Furman's uncle.
I obtained the street address, along with Mary and John's names on the 1930 Census.
I am having major problems with my computer so I may be slow getting back to you, as I was now, but will return your email as quickly as possible.
Please email me as soon as you can letting me know if you are related to them?
