Hi Barbara,
I found the following infomation. It may help some.
Also I think Benjamin Chew married Elizabeth Benson.
Colonial Families of the United States, Vol 5
Edited by George Norbury Mackenzie, LLB
States Goodrich Lightfoot s/o Col. John Lightfoot and Ann Goodrich married Mary Chew. He doesn't say anything regarding Mary Chew's parents.
And ..
I didn't find a Goodrich Lightfoot in New Kent, VA., I did however find this Goodrich Lightfoot in Spotsylvania, VA. Notice the Chews that live in Spotsylvania also.

Dec 1680 to Benjamin & Elizabeth (Benton) Chew of Maidstone plantation, Anne Arundel Co MD. cam e on a visit to her brother Samuel Chew (1693-1743) , Chief Justice of the Lower Counties (which counties?) of VA , when she met & married his acquaintance, my Goodrich Lightfoot of New Kent County VA.. Is there any documentation that names her Chew, not just Mary?
Would anyone on this list have a connection to a Thomas C. CHEW or another
CHEW family that moved to Arkansas? He was born in August 1844 (state unknown)
and died in 1908 in Union County, Arkansas and buried in the Woodlawn Cemetery
there. He was the co-owner of a pharmacy/drygoods store with a William H.
Goodwin in El Dorado, Union Co., AR. Thomas C. CHEW was married to an Ella J.
Chandler in 1874. I don't know if she was his first or second wife.
