Thanks for answering. My Rebecca is not the same. She was born in 1859. My Rebeccas husband was named Daniel.
He was born 1847. I was just curious.

Rebecca was married to Robert Chew. She was b. 1897 d. 1972. He died in 1946. We found their graves and those of my grandfather and great grandfather. My great grandmother was not there though. I know my aunt had 2 sons Jack and Daniel Chew. My Mother thinks one of the boys died. Someone is putting flowers on my Aunts grave. Would like to find someone who might have any information, they are all buried in Bridgeport cemetery in Brownsville.
Thank you

What time period was this. Who did Rebecca Marry? Did she have children.
For those with NJ Chew ties, there is a book entitled "Genealogy of the Chew
Family" by Robert L. Chew, which focuses on that line though it does
incorporate the earlier generations.
The book is available from the Gloucester County (NJ) Historical Society, 58
North Broad Street, Woodbury, NJ 08096. I believe they still probably have
a website which would confirm the availability and current price - something
around $30 give or take $5.
There are other sources of information on the original John Chew family but
I'd have to check my files - more like book chapters than entire books.
For the record, I descend from John Chew and Sarah's son Samuel who married
Anne Ayers and then their son William who married Sydney Wynne. My line
stayed in MD til great grandmother married and moved to PA.
Happy hunting,
Joan Bretz

Sorry for any confusion... I can help with the current generation of the Chews related to Carolyn and/or Jefferson Chew.
