Beginning March 2nd, 2020 the Mailing Lists functionality on RootsWeb will be discontinued. Users will no longer be able to send outgoing emails or accept incoming emails. Additionally, administration tools will no longer be available to list administrators and mailing lists will be put into an archival state.
Administrators may save the emails in their list prior to March 2nd. After that, mailing list archives will remain available and searchable on RootsWeb
Debi,
Thanks for this site, it will make my searching easier.

Dear Guy:
I am the listowner and I feel this is a great site to do some research. I
am sorry you do not feel the same. This is not a commercial site, it is a
site which has links to many informative places.
For instance: there are 260+ search engines, atlases, dictionaries,
information to create web sites, links to biographical sites, links to
newspapers, family search, language translator, library of congress, mailing
lists, military information, vital records, social security indexes, state
and local government site, census information and tons more. If you feel
this is commercial I am sorry. I use it all the time for research and I
find it helpful.
Take care,
Debi

Why are we being subjected to this kind of commercial trash?
Lets try to keep this sort of spam off the site.

Debi was kind enough to send a site that has a lot of genealogical research
sites on it and this is not "commercial trash" or spam. You should have
checked out the genealogical section of this site before you rushed to
judgment.
